Quick Start labs

Order your labs first. Save weeks on your plan.

Get your functional lab work done before your first visit so your provider has the full picture from day one. No waiting weeks for results after you've already met. You walk into your kickoff with a real plan, not "let's see what comes back."

How Quick Start works

Three steps. About three weeks total.

A streamlined path designed to get you into care with answers already in hand. Cash-pay through our Rupa Health storefront — at preferred member-style pricing, with three-month payment plans available.

— Step 01

Order your labs.

Choose your panels through our Rupa Health store. Comprehensive metabolic, hormone, thyroid, micronutrient, and specialty panels are all available. You'll get a requisition emailed within one business day.

Same day
— Step 02

Get your blood drawn.

Take your requisition to a local Quest, LabCorp, or other partnered draw site. Most members are done in under 30 minutes. Results begin returning within a few days; full panels typically complete within 7–14 days.

About 1–2 weeks
— Step 03

Book your appointment.

Once your results are in (give two weeks from the draw), schedule your intake. Your provider reviews everything before your visit and walks you through a personalized plan during your first appointment — not your second.

Quick Start is cash-pay only — not for insurance billing.

The labs ordered through our Rupa Health storefront are cash-pay only. You cannot bill these labs through your insurance. This path is for members who prefer the convenience and faster timeline of self-directed lab ordering, often at rates that beat insurance copays anyway.

If you'd rather use insurance: schedule a membership intake first. Your provider can order labs through a path that may be insurance-eligible. We'll walk you through both options at intake so you can choose what makes sense for your plan.

Three-month payment plans are available through Rupa Health if you'd like to spread the cost.

Quick Start questions

Common questions about ordering labs first.

Some specialty panels (GI-MAP, OAT, mycotoxin) take 7–14 days to fully return. Booking your visit two weeks after your draw ensures your provider has every result in front of them when you meet — so your first appointment becomes a real planning visit, not a wait-and-see.
No — the Quick Start path is cash-pay through Rupa Health only. If you want labs billed through insurance, schedule a membership intake first and your provider will order them through a path that may be insurance-eligible. Note: in our experience, the cash rates through Rupa are often cheaper than the patient responsibility (deductible + copay + coinsurance) on contracted insurance rates, especially before your deductible is met.
Many of the panels available through Rupa Health are HSA/FSA eligible. Save your receipt and submit through your benefits administrator. We can't guarantee approval for every plan.
For lab ordering through Rupa, no — anyone in the United States can order. For follow-up appointments with an Eden provider, yes — you'll need to reside in one of our 10 licensed states (AZ, CO, CT, FL, ID, NM, OR, UT, VT, WA; MD & NH pending).
If you're unsure, two simple options: (1) message Eden through the contact form and we'll suggest a starting bundle based on your concerns, or (2) book your intake first and let your provider order them for you. Quick Start is best when you already know which areas you want investigated (hormones, gut, metabolic, etc.).
After ordering, Rupa Health emails you a lab requisition and a list of partnered draw sites near you (Quest, LabCorp, and others). Walk in or schedule an appointment — most draws take under 30 minutes.
Yes. Rupa Health is the lab platform we use for our members. The panels available through the storefront are the same panels we'd recommend during an intake — you're just running them ahead.
